PASSION

I absolutely love being a hair technician and the endless creativity. I spend most of my spare time researching and investing in education for the latest innovative techniques, products and tools. I have been blessed to work for some of the world’s best hair artists and liaise regularly with overseas educators, building my skill level to its maximum potential.

My name is Tinealle Davis and I am a very passionate person who loves all things creative! I have a husband with 3 beautiful kids and we all work together to make a great team! I’ve always loved doing hair. My career as a hairdresser began at the teeny age of 6, braiding & styling hair for the neighborhood mums.

When I was 12, I landed my first job in a salon as a tea and tidy assistant where my desire to be a hair stylist and own business grew. I began my apprenticeship at age 19 on the Gold Coast. I then travelled Melbourne where I gained amazing education and experience both personally and professionally, from highly skilled and accredited mentors.

I fulfilled my dream to be a salon owner with Salon Sass in 2005. Fast forward some years and as a family, we created a purpose-built, home Hair Studio designed for one-on-one service. It is my client oasis – where I can transform you in an environment of creativity and transformation!

2017 & 2019 were the most terrifying of years for our family. Our baby was born with a rare genetic disease and I overcame open heart surgery. I never imagined being able to have the freedom that is good health again. But making it through this time gave me a new outlook and appreciation for life. With energy and confidence to pursue my new business focusing heavily on Rebonding Hair.

Where the creation of ‘The Straightening Studio’ began.

I grew an immense passion over the years for Permanent Hair Straightening and the challenge of creating healthy, rebonded hair. The possibilities in Permanent Hair Shaping are now endless. I have honed new skills and innovative techniques from Korea, Japan & Indonesia and am so excited to share my new skills with the latest in technology, products and tools.

With 23 years’ experience as a hair stylist, I am proud to call myself a Hair Technician, specialising in hair texture, design and hair health. After decades of perfecting my craft, every service is a piece of art to me.
